World Population Day Essay
Every year on July 11, “World Population Day” is celebrated. 1987 was the first year that the day was recognized and celebrated around the world. The main purpose of celebrating World Population Day is to address concerns about rapid population growth.
The population has grown rapidly. This is a burning issue that needs immediate treatment. China, India and the United States are the three most populous countries. Population growth puts additional pressure on the land and the environment.
The governing bodies of every nation must find practical solutions to alleviate this situation. Policies such as family planning and contraceptive use should be widely implemented.
