A River in Flood Paragraph
The main cause of floods in our country is heavy rainfall in the monsoon. Last year all the rivers of the province overflowed from their banks. The villagers were sleeping in their houses when the floodwater entered their houses. Crops were destroyed. The roads were closed and traffic stopped. The flood destroyed many houses and buildings. It uprooted the telephone and electric poles.
Thousands of people were rendered. The government set up homeless relief camps throughout the affected areas. The well-to-do people helped the flood-stricken with food, clothes and medicines. There was a great loss of life, property, cattle and crops. May Allah save us from the havoc of floods.
