Summer vacation is my favorite time of the year as it gives me a chance to relax and discover new things.
This summer, I visited my hometown, a long way from the city. It is a 5 hour train journey. My grandparents live there and my grandparents look after the fields and grow all kinds of crops. My cousins also used to visit our grandparents during the summer holidays. Our grandmother prepared delicious and mouth-watering dishes for us and we enjoyed every piece of food.
Most of the time, I visited the fields with my grandfather and learned from him about the crops and the seasons that they produce. I also played a lot with friends in my village. It was normal to hear a story from my grandmother every night and go to bed. I had a great time spending some precious time with my grandparents. I am fortunate to have such a caring and loving family, with whom I thoroughly enjoyed my summer vacation.
