A Visit to Hill Station Paragraph
Our school closed on May 15 for summer vacation. It was very hot in our city. My parents decided to go to Nilgiris. I also went with them. We packed our bags and prepared for the trip. We went to Coimbatore by train. The train journey was wonderful. From Coimbatore, we went to Ooty by bus. We reached there in the afternoon and stayed in a hotel.
Ooty is one of the best hill stations in India. It can be called the queen of hilly places. It has many beautiful places. The next day after breakfast we were crowded with tourists from different parts of the country. People bought all kinds of things. After lunch we went to the botanical garden. We enjoy the beauty of horticulture to our heart’s content.
The climate of the Nilgiris hill station is very healthy. It is a beautiful summer resort. The slopes of the mountains are covered with tall green trees which are visible at sunset and look very spectacular. Morning and evening hours are very pleasant. There is a breath of fresh air that refreshes the mind. It makes one forget about the scorching heat of the plains.
I felt happy in the company of nature. The colorful flowers, the clouds in the sky and the snow-capped peaks of the high mountains in the distance filled my heart with joy. We stayed there for 4 nights. I reluctantly returned home. The memory of the Nilgiris hill station visit is still fresh in my mind.
